The Moon reaches 22°53′ Pisces on 15 September 2027 at 23:05 UTC, exactly opposite the Sun at 22°53′ Virgo. The whole of its near face is lit, and the axis between the two signs is under maximum tension.

A full moon is a culmination, not a beginning.
