New Moon in Taurus

The Moon catches up with the Sun at 15°43′ Taurus on 6 May 2027, 11:01 UTC. Both bodies stand at the same degree, which is what a new moon is: the Moon is between us and the Sun, its lit face turned away, invisible from the ground.

Traditionally this is the start of a cycle rather than the end of one — the point at which something is begun quietly and without much evidence it will work.
